First Rate Fence & Access Control recently completed the installation of a custom automated steel entrance gate and ranch fencing system for a homeowner in Sedalia, Colorado.
The project began with the installation of approximately 900 feet of our Signature Fence, a distinctive 4-foot-tall, three-rail ranch fence featuring black powder-coated steel pipe rails and durable 5–6-inch pressure-treated wood posts. To safely contain goats, pets, and other small livestock, we also attached high-tensile woven field wire to create a secure enclosure without sacrificing the property’s open ranch appearance.
Once the perimeter fencing was complete, our team constructed a striking custom entrance. The entryway is anchored by two impressive 6.5-foot-tall stone columns, each measuring 30″ x 30″ and finished with 8″ x 8″ cedar timber portal, creating an elegant and welcoming entrance.
The centerpiece of the project is a custom-fabricated 14-foot x 5-foot steel driveway gate, designed and built by First Rate Fence & Access Control. The gate is powered by a harmonic swing gate operator and controlled by convenient wireless entry and exit keypads, providing reliable, secure access for the homeowner and authorized visitors.
